Cancellation Policy
Effective date: May 12, 2026
You can cancel your SpotLift subscription at any time. No phone calls, no forms — just one click in your dashboard.
1. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to:
Dashboard → Settings → Billing → Cancel Plan
No need to contact us. Cancellation takes effect immediately and you will receive a confirmation email. If you face any difficulty cancelling, email us at contact@spotlift.in and we will cancel it for you within 1 business day.
2. What Happens After You Cancel
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again.
- No prorated refund for the remaining days in your billing cycle. See our Refund Policy for refund eligibility.
- Your data is retained for 90 days after your subscription ends in case you wish to reactivate. After 90 days, you may request permanent deletion by emailing us.
- Generated content (posts, replies, descriptions) remains accessible in read-only mode until your billing period ends.
3. Reactivating Your Subscription
Changed your mind? You can reactivate your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Billing. If your account data is still within the 90-day retention window, everything will be exactly as you left it.
4. Grace Period on Payment Failure
If a renewal payment fails (expired card, insufficient balance), SpotLift gives you a 3-day grace period before your account is downgraded. During this period:
- You retain full access to all your plan features
- You will receive an email asking you to update your payment method
- If payment is not received within 3 days, your account moves to the free plan automatically
To update your payment method, go to Dashboard → Settings → Billing or contact us at contact@spotlift.in.
5. Deleting Your Account
Cancelling your subscription is different from deleting your account. To permanently delete your account and all associated data:
Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your business profile data, generated content, and account information will be permanently removed.
