Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

SpotLift (spotlift.in) is an AI-powered Google Business Profile optimisation tool for small businesses in India. SpotLift is operated as a sole proprietorship by Sarawanan, based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

By creating an account or using SpotLift, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. What SpotLift Does

SpotLift provides AI-powered tools to help business owners create and manage content for their Google Business Profile, including post generation, review reply suggestions, business descriptions, and related tools.

SpotLift generates content suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing it to your Google Business Profile or anywhere else. SpotLift does not publish content directly to Google on your behalf.

3. Your Account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share your account with others.
• You must provide accurate information during signup and keep it up to date.
• One account per business. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SpotLift to:

• Generate or publish fake reviews or misleading content about any business
• Impersonate another business or person
• Violate Google's terms of service or content policies
• Spam customers or send unsolicited messages
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the SpotLift platform
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose under Indian law

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. AI-Generated Content

SpotLift uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate content. You understand that:

• AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific business
• You must review all content before publishing it
• SpotLift is not responsible for any consequences arising from publishing AI-generated content without review
• Generated content does not constitute professional legal, medical, or financial advice
• SpotLift does not guarantee that using the platform will improve your Google ranking or business results

6. Plans, Payments and Billing

• SpotLift offers Starter, Growth, and Agency plans billed monthly in Indian Rupees (INR).
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise Razorpay to charge your payment method monthly.
• Plan prices are displayed on the pricing page and may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

7. Intellectual Property

SpotLift and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Sarawanan and protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws.

Content you generate using SpotLift belongs to you. You grant SpotLift a limited licence to store and display your generated content within the platform for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, SpotLift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of revenue, or Google account suspension.

SpotLift's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the service. We will give reasonable notice where possible.

You may terminate your account at any time via Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of SpotLift after that date means you accept the updated terms.
